Pet Food, Supplements, and Treats -Choosing the Right Stuff for Your Pet

The right food can make a huge  difference in your pet’s health. That’s why we offer a wide variety of therapeutic diets for puppies/kittens, adults and seniors. We also have food to help prevent disease and food to treat certain disease conditions. We also carry supplements for general wellness and for acute and chronic disease conditions.

Fact or Fiction -? You should feed all your dogs or cats the same food.. it’s safe and easy! Actually “All Life Stages” commercial pet foods are puppy/kitten food!  It is much better for your pets to be fed based on age/body condition/activity level/breed/health risk . Ask us what your pet needs!

Did you know 80% of pets are overweight. That is concerning! We know how hard it is to make your pet lose weight. They beg, they steal they look at you with those “eyes”.  We can help! Most commercial diets are too high in calories and if you feed what the label says you are already overfeeding! so once you “treat” as well your pet doesn’t have a chance of getting or staying slim and trim! We can help get your pet to a healthy weight! And still give “treats”. Just ask and  we will tell you how!.

Do you have a small dog? If so then dental disease and bladder disease are very common problems. We can help treat them and better yet help avoid them! Of course, if your pet already has one or both disease we have to “fix” them first and then develop their individualized maintenance  program. Just Ask!

So many foods and treats on the market, so many choices, how do you chose? Ask us!

In many instances veterinary food is less expensive that high priced “commercial or boutique foods”.  Purchasing veterinary foods is certainly much cheaper and less painful for your pet than treating for the disease. We make it easy- you can order on-line and have it delivered to the clinic or to your home! You can even order in the middle of the night!  What could be easier!

We can recommend a diet for your pet. Veterinary consultation is required for our prescription diet foods and our supplements. Call us today to schedule an appointment to discuss your pet’s nutritional needs.
